Refund Policy

In the event a credit balance has resulted on a resident private account, this balance will be refunded based on the following:

  • Resident account is clear except for the said credit. (Insurance, Medicaid, and/or Third Party Payors are paid and show on deductible or copays)
  • As prescribed by the appropriate State regulations for Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Livings, or Independent Living, whichever is appropriate.
  • As directed by state Medicaid programs.

Refund will be issued by check within 30 days of confirmation of the above items. Refunds may only be issued to the resident, the resident’s estate, or the responsible party.
